Situated on the northern reef of the Lhaviyani Atoll, 80 miles from the International Airport 'Male', is 40 minutes by seaplane. This area is famous for its abundant fish life. It's a paradise island with more than 3 km of white beaches and aquamarine lagoons.

Kuredu Island Resort consists of 280 single storey bungalows and villas on the beach and 50 over-water villas, with their own decks with sunbeds. There are activities to suit everyone, from snorkelling in the turquoise waters to night golfing, to kiteboarding and catamaran sailing. There are also plenty of restaurants for you to dine in and everyday evening entertainment including theme evenings and dancing.

Honeymoon

Couples who spend their honeymoon at Kuredu will receive a fruit basket and Bottle of Wine in the room upon arrival.


Transfer Times

It takes 40 minutes by seaplane or 4 to 5.5 hours by speedboat to reach Kuredu Island Resort from the Airport. Clients who arrive by late night flights will overnight in a cityhotel, as seaplanes and speedboats do not operate after sundown. They will be transferred the next morning with the first available flight. Clients departing by evening flight will be provided a transfer as late as possible. Check-out from the resort is at 1200 hrs. It is recommended to take a day use room in Male' up to the time of the International departure flight.


Child Policy

O Resort facilities and the Sangu Restaurant is restricted to guests above 12 years of age, as there is no railing on the ocean side edge of the deck. Therefore, serving of all package meals for guests booked in O beach villas with children below 12 years will be at Koamas Restaurant.

Building Work

From 9 Aug-8 Oct 2008, the Garden and Beach Bungalows are being refurbished. This involves checking the equipment in the rooms and replacing those that require replacing, painting and changing of furniture etc. There is no structural work involved and therefore minimal disturbance is expected. Care will be taken to allocate guests away from the bungalows being worked on.
